Junior Marketing Automation Manager

Pipefy is searching for a rockstar Junior Marketing Automation Manager to own email marketing, lead engagement, including lead qualification, scoring, and nurturing, as well as be the primary administrator for our Marketing Automation Platform (Marketo). This is a senior role that requires a high-performing leader capable of both managing a small team as well as executing as on individual-contributor level.

What You'll Do:

In summary, the main goals for this role are:

  • Engage visitors, leads, and customers with the right content at the right time, based on their interests, profiles, and online behavior
  • Connect cross-channel marketing campaigns based on user behavior and intent
  • Help our sales team prioritize what leads to touch and how to engage them.
  • Deploy, and manage different elements of our marketing tech stack, primarily Marketo, to be able to identify, track, and optimize the customer journey


  • Launch and manage all marketing automation projects and processes
  • Build and maintain Pipefy’s marketing technology stack and processes; partner with relevant parts of the organization (data, engineering, product management) to deploy and connect it
  • Design and execute nurture flows using marketing automation programs for visitors, registered users and customers, including entry and transition logic and rules, and routing of leads
  • Create and maintain personalized web experiences according to visitor behavior, interest and traffic sources
  • Create lists based on user personas and online behavior, including website activity, past email, or interactions with other assets.
  • Create and maintain lead nurturing reports, KPIs and dashboards
  • Work closely with the customer operations organization to optimize our focus on the most important prospects at the right time
  • Ensure our marketing, sales and company activities, and data practices follow appropriate privacy policies and laws (GDPR, etc.)
  • Own our marketing database and ensure data quality; Help reconcile data between Salesforce and marketing systems; Regular execution of data cleansing and appending processes
  • Work closely with product marketing, performance marketing, sales operations, and data teams to improve funnel performance, customer engagement increasing close rates and lower CAC
  • Collaborate with our SDR and Inbound teams to understand how our marketing initiatives are impacting their funnel on a quantitative and qualitative basis

What We Need You to Have:

  • 5-7 years of experience managing email and lead engagement campaigns and executing, lead scoring and qualification programs
  • 2-3 years as a Marketing administrator; experience managing a complex MarTech stack, including CRM (Salesforce), and MAP (Marketo)
  • Solid understanding of the marketing and sales funnel, and activities to move prospects through each stage
  • Solid understanding of online customer tracking technologies and options.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • You must be structured and analytical in your problem-solving approach, and be able to explain and sell your plans, approach, and thinking across the organization
  • Must be able to project-manage and execute well under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage a very complex environment with multiple ‘products’ being sold across different audiences, geographies, industries, and interests
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

It Would be Awesome if You Had:

  • Experience in a B2B environment is highly desired, and SaaS experience is preferred
  • Hands-on experience with analytical, statistical, and BI tools; SQL is proficiency is also a plus
  • Lean thinking to optimize all touch-points that lead to customer conversion
